The Afternoon opened in Omaha in 1962 as an art gallery with
the addition of a few worldly goods. Everyone wonders why our
store is called The Afternoon. The name is a reflection of
the original operating hours--it was only open in the
afternoon.
From the beginning merchandise has been distinctive and
eclectic. Continuing to sell unique and wonderful items
and to provide our customers with the pleasure of discovering them is our mission.
With all the new exciting merchandise coming in every day
this is a stimulating place to shop. We want our customers
