Doodlebug Necklace Style 4

This brightly colored insect pendant is the creation of artist Joyce Fritz, and is part of the Yipes! collection. Joyce observes "The brilliant color possibilities and the subject matter of insects as jewelry combine to create humor and surprise." Her bugs are crafted from polymer clay; metallic leaf, metallic powders, and glitter are also used to embellish the surfaces of the work. Antennae are made with beads and recycled telephone wire. The 1" pendant hangs from a 5.75" diameter silver colored wire collar.
